Any way to force Mollom verification as a test?
Hey,
We have a comment form that's protected, but were having issues with the textarea being reset to default values when Mollom invokes.
Is there any string I can enter in the comments to force a mollom validation to pop so I can test/trace this?
Thanks,
D

I'm not sure I understand the problem. Mollom does not alter the textarea and isn't invoked until you decide to submit the form. Can you provide some more detail?
viagra viagra viagra!
For testing I often try to trick Mollom into thinking that a comment is spam. I find that typing viagra a lot, and cialis, and C1AL!S seems to do the trick. Including lots of links also seems to work pretty well.
Oddly enough this comment wasn't flagged as spam. Smart!
API test mode
You can put your key in developer mode when you go to the key manager on the mollom.com site, edit your key, and check the developer checkbox. Warning, when you do this, Mollom will not properly work, so turn this back off when you are done testing.
Once in developer mode, you can force Mollom to return any value by writing in the post body: 'spam', 'unsure', or 'ham'. When solving a CAPTCHA a similar test behavior is obtained by entering 'correct' or 'incorrect' in the CAPTCHA field.
More information on the testing mode can be found in the developer API.
Invalid Link
The link in the above post "API test mode" does not work, it should be to "/api" ie like this
